Materials List
3 or 4 objects you can live without for 8 weeks: different colors, sizes, textures and materials.

Pastels: as many as possible with particular attention to a range of value from lark to light.

For drawing: extra soft vine charcoal or charcoal pencils

Kneaded eraser

Paper: textured papers allow for more layering of pastel. Some choices are:
Sennelier La Carte, neutral middle value
Wallis Belgian Gray
Art Spectrum Colourfix, neutral middle value
If you have a favorite surface, bring that.

Backboard at least 1 inch larger than your paper. Some choices are:
masonite clip board
homasote (available at some hardware stores and Home Depot)

Tape or push pins for mounting paper
