|  | | Even if you've never painted in watercolors before, you will leave this class ready to take on the natural world. Simple steps will enable you to get started. Drawing basics, color mixing and materials will be explained. Learn techniques of traditional watercolor and develop your skills while adding to your portfolio as you paint.
This class will provide the student with the confidence and ability to maintain a personal record of the natural world. Elements of painting such as the movement of light, mass conceptions, depicting form, creating depth, and atmospheric perspective will be taught. Flowers will be provided, but students may bring flowers, fruit, shells or other natural objects to draw from. Bring whatever watercolor materials you already have.
