Edward Spaulding DeVoeThe depth and breadth of Edward Spaulding DeVoe's artistic knowledge is seemingly unlimited. It's for this reason that he enjoys a loyal following of dedicated students.
He is fascinated with light, its quality, and its play upon the subject matter. Under Ed's expert guidance, his students achieve thrilling breakthroughs in their work.
Edward Spaulding DeVoe has taught landscape painting for over a decade in the heart of the Hudson River's greatest scenery at The United States Military Academy, West Point. He studied at The Arts Students League in N.Y.C. under Frank H. Mason and Herbert Abrams. He holds a BA in Fine Arts from Colgate University. DeVoe exhibits internationally and his works are in private and public collections throughout the world. He has won "Best-In-Show" in many competitions, including the President's Award from the National Arts Club. His mural designs were part of the National Society of Mural Painters' Bicentennial tribute.
