    Creating Clay Sculpture

    with Mary Adams

Creating sculpture using clay is a way to discover the three dimensions with one’s fingertips. Whether working from a live model, a plaster cast, or one’s imagination, the hand and eye internalize knowledge about proportion, relationship, gesture, and anatomy. Students will be able to work on individual projects as well as some sessions with a model.

    Fridays, September 4 - October 19
    9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Price includes model fee. A firing fee of .06 cents per cubic inch is charged on all ceramic pieces.

Registration for any of these events at WAA or sponsored by WAA assumes permission to collect an image of you and/or your artwork and to use those images publicly to promote WAA. You may inform us at the time of registration, or inform the photographer/videographer at the event, that you do not wish to have your image taken.

We welcome all ages and levels of experience.
