WAA ANNOUNCES FOCUS: ART AND DESIGN HOLIDAY GIFT GALLERY
An opportunity to Support the Arts and Save on Sales Tax
We are pleased to announce that we will kick off this year's holiday season Friday, November 27, with Focus: Art and Design, the organization's annual holiday gift gallery. The event provides a unique opportunity for area residents to support the arts in Litchfield County while saving on sales tax, which, owing to the Art Association's not-for-profit status, will be waived each Saturday until the event concludes on December 24, 2009.
Focus: Art and Design will feature the work of both established and emerging artists and designers, together with intriguing new items sourced from outside Litchfield County, which will be presented in a special holiday-themed installation.
The Washington Art Association is located in Bryan Memorial Plaza, Washington Depot, CT. During this event, the gallery will be open on Mondays. The hours are Monday-Saturday, 10-5 and Sunday 12-5.
