2017 Atelier Sale
Please join us at this popular annual event!

An affordable way to add to your art collection and also support the Washington Art Association & Gallery and local artists!

Atelier Sale: June 10 – June 24, 2017

The Atelier Sale is an important fundraiser for WAA and netted significant funds for participating artists last year. We hope you will take part in this fun event and bring work that you and the Washington Art Association & Gallery can showcase proudly.

Due to space restrictions, the number of artists is limited to the first 50 members who return the enclosed contact information form. UPDATE: Atelier submissions are no longer being accepted.

COMMISSION:
The gallery retains a 50% commission on all sales.

WHAT YOU MAY SELL:
Paintings, works on paper, pottery, sculpture, assemblages and collages. Paintings do not need to be framed, but must be dry and ready to hang with wires. No saw tooth hangers please! Works on paper do not need to be matted or framed. Art materials and art books are welcome. No jewelry, fabric items, knitted, or woven works will be allowed this year.

The quantity of pieces a participant may bring is not limited but should be a “reasonable” amount considering space constrictions.

To keep the work affordable the following pricing guidelines must be followed:
Paintings and sculpture must be priced between $50 and $500
Prints, works on paper, and photographs must range between $25 and $500
Ceramics must be priced between $15 and $500.
We will not accept any work that doesn’t follow these guidelines.

RECEIVING:
Sunday, June 4, 11am – 3pm and Wednesday, June 7, 10am – 4pm.

BEFORE ARRIVING:
• Please have your items clearly tagged (Include your 3 initials and price) before you arrive for receiving.
• All items must be numbered consecutively and initialed as indicated on the entry form. Each individual item must also be tagged to correspond to the inventory sheet. Example: ABC-1 $50, ABC-2 $300, etc. To download Inventory Sheets, please go to our website www.washingtonartassociation.org.

• All artists must be present while an inventory of their work takes place on receiving day or sign a waiver indicating the Washington Art Association & Gallery is not liable for discrepancies.

If you are unable to be here on the receiving dates, please call to make an appointment prior to that time.

All work must be delivered before 4 pm on Monday, June 5.

Due to space considerations, the Washington Art Association & Gallery reserves the right to select the amount of artwork being submitted.

PICK-UP:
Any unsold items must be picked up on Sunday, June 25, 11 am – 3pm or Tuesday, June 27, 10am – 4pm.

PLEASE NOTE: Our storage space is extremely limited so it is very important to pick up your work or arrange for someone to pick up for you on the dates listed above.

The gallery accepts no responsibility for work not retrieved on the pick-up dates and will charge the artist $10.00 a week thereafter for storage. After 30 days, the gallery may dispose of the work.
