Thanks to the generosity of Washington Art patrons and collectors Margaret Ferguson and Dan Sherr, the 2010 Members' Show will be awarding prizes: 1st $1000; 2nd $650; 3rd $350
Past award winners are encouraged to participate in the show but are not eligible to receive an award.
Please join us at the opening reception on Saturday, March 6 from 4 - 6 PM. Enjoy viewing the works and chatting with the artists.
Submission Guidelines:
Submit ONE recent work in the medium of your choice including photography, sculpture, and one-of-a-kind artisanry.
Maximum size for real estate is 31.5 x 31.5 inches or 1000 square inches. 2-D work measurements MUST include the frame.
ATTENTION! PLEASE FOLLOW RULES STRICTLY! NO EXCEPTIONS!
All wall pieces larger than real estate limits will not be exhibited.
Work arriving after 5pm on March 2 will not be exhibited.
Wall pieces must be securely wired,ready to hang from one nail.
Position screw eyes approximately 1/3down each side of the frame.
Wire must not extend above the top of the frame. No sawtooth hangers.
We reserve the right to exclude art that has been in any previous Members Show - or two.
There will be a storage fee for work left after Friday, April 1, 5pm.
Fees:
Entry $10.00 / 40% commission on all pieces sold.
Receiving:
Sunday, February 28 from 12 - 5 PM; Monday, March 1 and Tuesday, March 2 from 10 AM - 5 PM.
Pick-up:
Monday, March 29 and Tuesday March 30 from 10 AM - 5 PM.
