HOURS
The public is always welcome to visit the Washington Art Association. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday 10 to 5, Sundays 12 to 5. Closed on Monday.
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
The Washington Art Association is located on Bryan Memorial Plaza in the center of Washington Depot, Connecticut--next to the Washington Town Hall and across the street from the Washington Depot Post Office.

From New York City Take your preferred route to I-684 north (From the West Side, Hudson Pkwy to Saw Mill Pkwy. From the East Side, FDR to Deegan Expy to Cross County Pkwy to Hutchinson River Pkwy. From Brooklyn & Queens, BQE or Van Wyck Expwy to Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River Pkwy). Take I-684 north to I-84 East. In Danbury, take (left) Exit 7, proceed north on Route 7 North/Route 202 East, toward Brookfield and New Milford. When expressway ends, turn right at traffic light to continue on Route 7 North/Route 202 East to New Milford. Then follow Danbury/New Milford Directions below.
From Danbury/New Milford Take Rt. 202 north to Rt. 109. Continue on Rt. 109, turning right at T intersection, into Washington Depot. Turn right into Bryan Memorial Plaza. WAA is at the end of the Plaza on the right.
From Southbury Take exit 15 off of I-84, take Rt. 6 to Rt. 47 into Washington Depot. Turn left into Bryan Memorial Plaza. WAA is at the end of the plaza on the right.
From Roxbury take Rt. 67 to Rt. 199 to Rt. 47 into Washington Depot. Turn left into Bryan Memorial Plaza. WAA is at the end of the plaza on the right.
From Woodbury Take Rt. 47 at Canfield Corners to Washington Depot. Turn left into Bryan Memorial Plaza. WAA is at the end of the plaza on the right.
From Litchfield Take Rt. 202 south to Rt. 47. Continue on Rt. 47, turning right at T intersection. Take an immediate left into Bryan Memorial Plaza. WAA is at the end of the Plaza on the right.
From Kent Take Rt. 341, turning right at T intersection onto Rt. 202. Turn left onto Rt. 47 and at T intersection, turn right. Take an immediate left into Bryan Memorial Plaza. WAA is at the end of the Plaza on the right.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Alas, there is no public transportation in Washington Depot. If you are coming from New York City, you may take either the Metro North Harlem Line train to Harlem Valley Wingdale Station (in Duchess County, NY), or the Peter Pan Bus to Southbury, CT. In either case, you will need to make advance arrangements for a friend or taxi to pick you up and take you to Washington Depot.
