The creative impulse of a landscape painter comes from embracing the landscape itself, and is best expressed when the landscape and the painter share the space, time, wind and sound. The skill of observation of nature gained through this class shall avail itself as a fount of ideas a painter can call upon in the seclusion of the studio. In this course students benefit by instruction about art principles and color theories that support and further their own creative inclinations.
