with Avery Danziger
Avery has been photographing artist’s work for presentations and reproductions for over 30 years, both on film and digitally, and photographed artwork for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Since high quality digital imagery is the key to the to the digital portfolio/presentation process, on Sunday, June 2, the day after the workshop, WAA members will be given the opportunity to bring in original artwork which Mr. Danziger will photograph digitally using a professional copying studio he will setup at our location. The work can be dropped off on Saturday June 1 from 4 – 5pm or Sunday morning from 10 am – noon. If the original artwork is not available or if the artist has already had their artwork professionally documented, artists can also bring in digital images, which they wish to be included in their portfolio but which need evaluating, “cleaned up” or enhanced.
The cost will be $15 per image for workshop participants / $20 per image for members to shoot, color correct, and transfer their images to a carom.
