Exhibitions

The Washington Art Association has produced more than 600 exhibitions, which have introduced both emerging and established artists to Northwest Connecticut and beyond. The exhibitions at WAA, while varied in subject matter and eclectic in style, all offer opportunities to consider the ways in which art can represent and interpret the world.  Bringing the arts into the life of our community is at the heart of the WAA mission and we welcome your involvement in this effort.

Education

Whether you are experienced or a novice, WAA offers a range of opportunities for creative exploration. We have been a well-respected source of arts education since 1952. WAA provides a nurturing place for people of all ages to develop their skills or explore new artistic directions. An accomplished group of talented teachers offers quarterly classes to help you reach your goals.
