This Class is for people who have a sense of direction for their own art — of all skill levels. Still lives will be set up and occasionally models hired for figures or portrait work.

There will be lectures and mini whiteboard demos as subjects present themselves. Transcending Nature often suggests new subjects, and inspire painting larger than you’ve ever tried.

Try a six-foot canvas and mix your mediums. You could start in watercolor, painting with your fingers, then end in oil, painting a life force you sense at the tip of your brush.

As paintings move towards completion, there will be group critiques.
