In this introductory workshop we will explore the properties of Cold Wax when mixed with oil paint. Among the topics covered are:

• What is cold wax, how does it behave
• What substrates are appropriate
• Use of tools: Squeegees, palette knives, brayers
• Developing texture
• Elements of design

Constance Kilgore is a professional artist and expressive arts facilitator. Her work, in both private and public institutions throughout the US and Europe, is largely intuitive in nature. She believes in the necessity of play to inspire joy in daily life.
